National Rides

Three Rivers - June

National rides are events held under the banner of Endurance GB and hosted by their area group. They usually include Pleasure and Graded Endurance Rides and may also include Competitive Endurance Rides. All horses are examined by a vet both pre and post competition and are usually attended by people from a wide area.

Mid South is host to 3 National rides - 2 in the New Forest and one from near the ancient village of Rockbourne on the western edge of our area.

Our neighbouring groups Wessex and South East also host rides that our within easy reach of our members and good motorways mean we can access most events in the southern half of Britain with ease.

Please see our National Rides listed below and we look forward to seeing you there.

All upcoming events are subject to government updates and restrictions, including strict COVID protocols.

Starting from an old WW2 airfield in the ancient New Forest, this ride is undulating with a few short hills, open heathland and sandy and gravel tracks amongst woodland trails. Panoramic views with a few horse friendly gates. The venue is hard standing and sheltered by surrounding trees and the route drains well.

This route is made up of grassy tracks, undulating Nature Reserve over grassy downland, a mixture of grassy and stony bridleways and some roadwork through picturesque villages. Large grassy venue hosts this 2-day ride. Stabling, corralling and camping available on site.
