Graded Endurance Rides (GER's):
- Class distances start from 20km
- Your horse is presented for a trot up and heart rate before and after the ride

- Your horse's heart rate must be 64bpm or lower at presentation (normal resting heart rate is 34-44bpm)
- Speed minimums and maximums depend on the qualification level of horse and rider
- Your result is scored by measuring your speed and your horse's pulse at the final presentation which gives you a final grade (1, 2, 3, 4 or Completion)
- Any class over 30km also has a placing from 1st - 3rd which is based on a formula score
Competitive Endurance Riders (CER's):
- Class distances start from 80km
- Horses are presented for trot ups and heart rates before, during, and at the end of the ride
