Mid South Trophies and Awards

Every year we host a Branch Annual Meeting & Awards Evening, this year we will be hosting in Quarley, near Andover. Make sure the date is in your diary - 8th February 2025.

​

This is a combination event which includes

- Our annual report about the group to our Mid South members 

- A celebration of Mid South members success during 2024

- Lots of talk about which events we're aiming for in 2025

- A wonderful dinner and a chance to be social in the dark winter months.

We have lots of awards on offer including the following:

Mid South Distance Awards

Open to ALL Mid South Members

Make sure to fill out your Mid South trophy card to make sure we don't miss any of those precious kilometres that you have done with your horse in 2024.

• Download your card here if you don't already have one - Trophy Card 

• Make sure you have all the EGB rides on it that you've done in 2024, this can include rides at both Local and National level, run by any EGB Group.

• One Trophy Card per horse

• Take a photo of your card and email it to karenandrobert2008@hotmail.co.uk by Wednesday 11th December 2024 to make sure we get your award ordered in time.

Mid South Advanced Horse

Awarded to the Advanced level Horse or Pony, owned by a Mid South Member, with the most points from all types of rides

​

Mid South Open Horse

Awarded to the Open level Horse or Pony, owned by a Mid South Member, with the most points from all types of rides

​

Mid South Novice Horse

Awarded to the Novice level Horse or Pony, owned by a Mid South Member, with the most points from Novice rides

​

Mid South Novice Foundation Horse

Awarded to the Novice level Horse or Pony, owned by a Mid South Member, with the most points from Novice Foundation rides

Mid South Veteran Horse

Awarded to the Veteran Horse or Pony, owned by a Mid South Member, with the most points from all types of rides

​

Mid South Homebred Horse

Awarded to the Homebred Horse or Pony, owned by a Mid South Member, with the most points from all types of rides

​

Mid South Native Breed

Awarded to the Native British Breed Horse or Pony, owned by a Mid South Member, with the most points from all types of rides

​

Mid South Pony

Awarded to the Pony of any breed, 14.2hh or under, owned by a Mid South Member, with the most points from all types of rides

​

Mid South 40 and Under

Awarded to the Horse or Pony and Rider, who is a Mid South Member, who has gained the most points in Graded Rides of 40km or less in the current season

​

Mid South Advanced Rider

Awarded to the Advanced level Mid South Member, with the most points from all types of rides

​

Mid South Open Rider

Awarded to the Open level Mid South Member, with the most points from all types of rides

​

Mid South Novice Rider

Awarded to the Novice level Mid South Member, with the most points from all types of rides

 

Mid South Veteran Rider

Awarded to the Veteran Rider, who is a Mid South Member, with the most points from all types of rides

​

Mid South Young Rider

Awarded to the Young Rider, who is a Mid South Member, with the most points from all types of rides

​

Mid South Junior Rider

Awarded to the Junior Rider, who is a Mid South Member, with the most points from all types of rides

​

Mid South Pleasure Horse & Rider

Awarded to the Horse or Pony and Rider, who is a Mid South Member, who has gained the most distance in Pleasure Rides in the current season

​

Mid South Best Crew

Awarded to the crew member or members, to recognise their efforts in crewing a Mid South rider. 

​

Mid South Unsung Hero

Awarded to the Mid South member who has been judged by the Mid South Committee to have given exceptional help, service or commitment to the Mid South group

​

Mid South Special Award

Awarded to the Mid South member who has achieved something extraordinary in the current season
