Due to Covid we have moved our New Forest Runway Ride and renamed this year - Breamore Down

16th May 2021

Held at Tenantry Farm, near Rockbourne between Salisbury and Fordingbridge, but using different routes to Three Rivers above. There will be 20, 32 and 40 K loops, final preparations and route checks have been carried out by Charlotte and Carolyne.

This route is made up of grassy tracks, undulating Nature Reserve over grassy downland, a mixture of grassy and stony bridleways and some roadwork through picturesque villages. Large grassy venue hosts this 1-day ride.

Our usual end of season ride is CANCELLED

Rufus New Forest 9th/10th Oct 2021

Planned to be held at New Park, Brockenhurst, in the heart of the New Forest.

The route proposed by Forestry England was only on "Red Robust" forest routes and the connection of these by public highway. The ride organisers did not feel that riding up to 80 K on hard forest tracks was appropriate and in the welfare interests of our horses.

We will keep you updated with any discussion with Forestry England and the use of Crown land.
